Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-24

This Privacy Policy explains how Web Dubbing collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you visit webdubbing.io, create an account, or use our browser-based video dubbing services (collectively, the "Service").

1. Information We Process

1.1 Account and support information

We may process your email address, account identifier, profile details, authentication records, preferences, and the information you include in support requests. The exact information depends on the sign-in and account options available to you.

1.2 Uploaded and generated content

When you use a dubbing workflow, we may process the materials needed to perform your request, including:

  • uploaded video, audio, and subtitle files;
  • audio extracted from video;
  • transcripts, translations, speaker labels, and timing data;
  • voice samples, voice selections, pronunciation guidance, and other instructions you choose to provide; and
  • generated voice tracks, subtitles, dubbed videos, and task results.

Some of this content may contain personal data about you or other people, including an identifiable voice or likeness. Only submit content that you have the right and permission to process.

1.3 Service, device, and usage information

We may collect task identifiers and status, feature selections, credit usage, account activity, downloads, error and diagnostic records, log data, IP address, browser and device information, referral information, and analytics events. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and understand the Service.

1.4 Purchases and billing

If you make a purchase, a payment processor handles the payment method. We may receive transaction identifiers, payment status, purchase or plan details, billing contact information, and records needed for credits, accounting, refunds, fraud prevention, and customer support. We do not need your complete card number to provide the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information described above to:

  • receive uploads and perform transcription, translation, voice generation, audio mixing, subtitle creation, and result delivery;
  • create, authenticate, and maintain accounts;
  • manage tasks, subscriptions, purchases, and credits;
  • provide support and communicate service or policy updates;
  • measure performance and improve reliability and usability;
  • detect abuse, fraud, security incidents, and policy violations; and
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements.

3. Storage and Service Providers

Web Dubbing relies on service providers to operate the Service. Depending on the feature you use, your information may be sent to or processed by:

  • cloud hosting and object-storage providers that receive uploads and store task inputs or outputs;
  • AI, transcription, translation, and speech or voice providers that process content to produce the requested result;
  • content-safety and moderation providers that screen user-supplied prompts for prohibited or abusive content;
  • authentication and account-service providers;
  • payment processors used for the checkout shown to you; and
  • analytics, logging, error-monitoring, and support providers.

Before an image or video generation request is sent to a model, user-supplied text prompts may be shared with a third-party content safety provider solely to detect prohibited content, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy. A prompt may be rejected when it violates those policies or when the required safety check cannot be completed.

Provider availability and configuration can change as the Service develops. Their processing may occur in different countries and is also subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Web Dubbing does not make a blanket promise that every downstream model provider excludes submitted content from model improvement or training. That treatment depends on the provider, product configuration, and terms applicable to the feature at the time you use it. Any more specific disclosure presented in the product applies to that workflow.

4. Retention and Deletion

Retention is not the same for every data type or feature. Uploaded files, intermediate files, and generated results may remain in object storage or provider systems while a task is processed, made available for delivery or retry, supported, secured, or removed by an automated lifecycle rule. The applicable period depends on the current technical implementation, product settings, provider behavior, and the controls shown in your account or task interface. This Policy does not promise a fixed deletion period when the Service does not verify one.

Where account or task deletion controls are available, you may use them. You may also contact us to request deletion. Deleting a file or closing an account may not immediately remove copies from backups, security logs, or a provider's systems, and some account, transaction, dispute, tax, or abuse-prevention records may be retained when reasonably necessary or legally required.

5. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information:

  • to the providers described above to perform the Service;
  • when you direct us to share or publish a result, or otherwise consent;
  • to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request;
  • to protect users, the public, Web Dubbing, or the integrity of the Service; or
  • in connection with a financing, reorganization, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We and our providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, security, functionality, analytics, and error monitoring. Browser controls may let you block or remove some technologies, but doing so can affect Service functionality. Where required, available consent controls describe optional uses.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your account credentials confidential and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal data, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Account settings may provide some controls. You can submit another request tosupport@webdubbing.io. We may need to verify your identity and may retain data where an exception or legal obligation applies.

9. International Processing

Web Dubbing and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use or rely on appropriate mechanisms for cross-border transfers, subject to applicable law.

10. Children and Other People's Data

The Service is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the processing of their data. Do not submit a child's or another person's image, voice, or personal data unless you have all legally required authority and consent. Contact us if you believe such information was submitted improperly.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as the Service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised version here and update the date above. Additional notice will be provided when required by applicable law.
