Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-24

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of webdubbing.io and the Web Dubbing services, websites, and AI-assisted workflows (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Acceptable Use Policyis part of these Terms and applies to every upload and generation request.

1. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must provide accurate account information, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.

2. The Service

Web Dubbing is designed to help users translate spoken content and prepare replacement voice tracks, subtitles, audio, or dubbed video. Features may be offered as previews, changed, limited, or unavailable until they are technically enabled. The product interface describes the capabilities available at the time of use.

3. Your Content and Required Rights

3.1 Authorized Content Only

You may process only videos, audio, voices, faces, likenesses, dialogue, prompts, and other materials that you own or are legally authorized to use. You may not use Web Dubbing for deceptive impersonation, fraud, harassment, non-consensual voice cloning, or misleading synthetic media.

You retain the rights you hold in content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have all permissions needed to upload, process, translate, reproduce, modify, dub, and export that content. This includes rights relating to video, dialogue, scripts, music, images, trademarks, performers, a person's name or likeness, and every recorded or synthesized voice used in your project.

Public availability does not by itself grant permission. You are responsible for notices, releases, licenses, and consents required by law or contract, and for respecting privacy, publicity, copyright, trademark, labor, and other third-party rights.

4. Voice Consent and Identity

You may not clone, imitate, preserve, or generate an identifiable person's voice without that person's prior, informed, and legally sufficient consent, unless you otherwise have a valid legal basis and authority to do so. If you act for a rights holder or organization, you must be able to document that authority. You must disclose synthetic or altered audio when applicable law, platform rules, or the context requires it.

5. Prohibited Uses

5.1 Prohibited Adult and Sexually Explicit Content

You may not use Web Dubbing to upload, generate, process, translate, dub, lip-sync, modify, or distribute content that is pornographic, NSFW, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, adult-oriented, or intended for sexual gratification.

This prohibition includes, without limitation:

  • pornographic or sexually explicit videos, images, dialogue, or audio;
  • sexualized nudity or content depicting explicit sexual acts;
  • non-consensual intimate imagery or sexual exploitation;
  • sexual content involving minors or persons who may appear to be minors;
  • content promoting sexual services or explicit adult entertainment; and
  • attempts to bypass, disable, probe, or evade content moderation systems.

We may block generation, remove content, suspend accounts, and refuse or terminate access when we reasonably believe this policy has been violated.

5.2 Other Prohibited Uses

You may not use or help others use the Service to:

  • impersonate or deceptively misrepresent another person or organization;
  • commit fraud, scams, extortion, or deceptive commercial practices;
  • create defamatory, harassing, threatening, exploitative, or unlawful content;
  • clone or imitate a celebrity's or any third party's voice without authorization;
  • create face swaps, deepfakes, deceptive identity manipulation, or non-consensual synthetic media;
  • infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights;
  • evade safeguards, probe or disrupt the Service, distribute malware, or gain unauthorized access; or
  • violate applicable law or another platform's binding rules.

Additional restrictions and examples are provided in our Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Content Moderation

We screen user-supplied text prompts before they are sent to image or video generation models. Prompts classified as flag or deny will not be processed. If the required content safety check is unavailable, times out, or cannot complete successfully, the generation request will be stopped rather than sent to the model.

7. AI Output Requires Review

AI-generated transcripts, translations, speaker assignments, pronunciations, timing, and voices may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. Results may resemble existing material or vary between runs. You must review and, where appropriate, edit the output and obtain required approvals before publishing, distributing, or relying on it. Web Dubbing does not guarantee translation accuracy, lip sync, originality, or fitness for a particular use.

8. License Needed to Process Content

You grant Web Dubbing and its service providers a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, modify, and process your content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and support the Service, and to comply with law. This license ends when the content is deleted from applicable systems, subject to backups, provider retention, and legal obligations described in the Privacy Policy.

As between you and Web Dubbing, we do not claim ownership of your content merely because you use the Service. Rights in AI-generated output can depend on applicable law, your input rights, and provider terms; we do not promise that output is eligible for exclusive ownership or protection.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on storage, AI, voice, authentication, analytics, hosting, and payment providers. Their services may have separate terms, restrictions, availability, and data practices. Web Dubbing is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Credits

Prices, taxes, billing intervals, renewal terms, included credits, and usage rules are those displayed at checkout or in your account when you purchase. A subscription renews only as disclosed during purchase. Use the cancellation method shown in your account or billing interface; the effective timing shown there controls access and future renewal.

Credits may be deducted when processing or other metered work begins. Expiration, rollover, transfer, and usage limits, if any, are governed by the terms presented for the relevant purchase. Credits are not a bank account or stored cash value. Refunds and remedies are governed by our Refund Policy, the checkout terms, the payment processor's settlement rules, and any non-waivable rights under applicable law.

11. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, fraud, legal requirement, nonpayment, or material harm to the Service or others. Where appropriate, we may allow an opportunity to appeal or correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Copyright and Rights Complaints

If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, voice, likeness, privacy, or other rights, email support@webdubbing.iowith enough information to identify the material, explain your claim, and allow us to contact you. We may request verification and may remove or restrict content while reviewing a report.

13. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Web Dubbing and its providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Any limitation applies only to the extent permitted in your jurisdiction and does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above. Additional notice will be provided when required. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
